My name is Sami Ibrahim.  I started my Kenpo training with Mike Veninshek at the Midwest Kenpo School in Cleveland, OH.  I had a little prior martial arts experience but Kenpo really found its way into my heart and soul.  When the school closed I continued to study with Mike at his home.  He really was my mentor growing up and if not for him I would not be who I am today. 

I eventually entered into Military Service.  I am still in the Army today.  I continued to study and train daily in Kenpo.  I did dabble in various other martial arts over the years but my main focus has remained Kenpo.  During my tour in Iraq, I shared some of the Kenpo Mike taught me with the other service members, Mike's lessons saved many lives including mine on so many levels. 

While in Arizona recently I visited with Clyde O'briant who's lessons helped me greatly get my Kenpo back on track.  I look forward to improving  my self as I walk the Road to Knowledge.  One day I would like to follow in my teacher's footsteps and pass the art to the next generation.
